I shall choose friends among men, but neither slaves nor masters. And I shall choose only such as please me, and them I shall love and respect, but neither command nor obey. And we shall join our hands when we wish, or walk alone when we so desire.

Hi Gaea,
Thanks for the visit on my blog :)
Quite a nice blog you've got yourself here..
How is Anthem? I read Fountainhead and like it but from what I hear from friends, the other books are not that interesting.
It is one of my personal favorites amongst her other Fiction works (after 'We the Living').
One of her foremost "futuristic" works, Anthem is a simple fiction that reflects her basic philosophy of "I"(the consciousness and man's ego) and her fear of how future would be.
In fact above the underlying strong philosophical currents, there is an obviously noticeable plot as well that makes it a good fiction, if not her greatest.
Fountain Head and Atlas Shrugged are bestsellers and liked by lots.
I dont mean to be condescending, but i think most find her other works uninteresting 'cos they are not able to grasp her idea.
Read ur blogs, read u.
I find a mind stuck in works of others, lesser mortals. To be You is to be free and let the ‘I’ fly and make others read You.
What do u mean? ;)
